THE FLOQER ALTERNATIVE

Floqer Runs The Workflow. Datamagnet Returns The Data.

Floqer is an AI-native GTM platform: a no-code canvas that waterfalls enrichment across 100+ third-party sources, tracks 80+ buying signals, and syncs two ways with Salesforce and HubSpot. Datamagnet sits a layer below that — a live professional data API you call from your own code. Floqer's REST API is open on every plan, but what it manages is workflows, sheets and rows. It is not a place you POST a URL and get a profile back.

Datamagnet vs Floqer: the short answer

Floqer and Datamagnet solve different halves of the same problem. Floqer is an AI-native GTM platform: a no-code workflow canvas that waterfalls enrichment across 100-plus third-party sources, tracks 80-plus buying signals, finds emails and phone numbers, and syncs two ways with Salesforce and HubSpot, from $49 a month. Datamagnet is a single live data API: POST a profile URL, get structured JSON fetched at that moment, from $39 a month. Choose Floqer if a revenue team is building workflows and needs contact data. Choose Datamagnet if your own code is the caller and you want one request, not a pipeline.

Our verdict

Floqer is a well-built platform, and it is not trying to be an endpoint. If a revenue team is assembling workflows, needs email addresses and phone numbers, and wants records written back to Salesforce on a schedule, Floqer does all of that and Datamagnet does none of it. But its API manages the workspace rather than the data, and its freshness model is re-checking stored records on a schedule. When the caller is a service and the answer has to be correct at the moment of the call, you want one request against a live source.

Which one should you pick?

Straight guidance, including the cases where we're the wrong answer.

Choose Datamagnet if

  • The thing asking for data is your product, a pipeline or an agent, and it needs one request rather than a workflow
  • You need the profile as it stands right now, not a stored record re-checked on a schedule
  • Post content, commenters, reactors and reposters have to arrive as JSON from dedicated endpoints
  • Sales Navigator search URLs are part of how you source, and you want them answered by an API
  • You want a fixed, published credit cost per endpoint before you sign up, not a per-action price that varies by underlying source
  • A $39 line item and 10 free credits are enough to prove the response shape today

Choose Floqer if

  • You need email addresses and phone numbers, with bounce checking and phone validation — Datamagnet returns none of these
  • The people building the workflows are RevOps operators who need a canvas, not engineers who want an endpoint
  • Enrichment has to land back in Salesforce, HubSpot or Snowflake without you writing the sync
  • Your signals must cover funding, hiring, website visits, search intent, G2 and Reddit — wider than our six signal types
  • You want AI research agents that answer arbitrary questions about an account from the open web, with source attribution
  • Procurement needs SOC 2 Type 2, SSO/SAML, SCIM provisioning, audit logs or a VPC deployment on day one

Floqer capabilities are summarized from their public documentation and pricing pages, last checked July 2026. Products change — verify against their current offering before you buy.

Floqer has an API. It is an API for building workflows.

This is the part worth checking yourself, because Floqer does better here than most GTM platforms: the REST API is Bearer-authenticated and included on the self-serve plan, not held back for Enterprise. But read the resource list in the OpenAPI spec and what it manages is the workspace — workflows, sheets, inputs, actions, rows and apps. Enriching one profile means creating a workflow, declaring input columns, adding an enrichment action to the chain, posting the row, triggering a run, then polling each cell until its status moves from queued to complete. That is the correct design for orchestrating a hundred sources. It is several round trips where a data API is one.

  • Enrich — POST a LinkedIn URL to /api/v1/person and get the live profile back for 1 credit
  • Search — ICP search, live people search or a Sales Navigator URL returns a page of results for 10 credits
  • Watch — six signal types arrive as an HMAC-signed webhook, verified with the X-Datamagnet-Signature header

Annual billing saves 10% at Floqer, and its credits stay valid for 12 months after a subscription ends. Credit units are not comparable between the two: Floqer prices each action by its underlying source, while Datamagnet publishes a fixed cost per endpoint. Competitor pricing is taken from their public pricing page and was last checked July 2026; list prices change and negotiated rates differ. See Datamagnet pricing for our current plans.

Where each tool genuinely wins

No tool wins everywhere. Here's the honest split.

Where Floqer wins

  • Email addresses and phone numbers waterfalled across 100+ sources, with bounce checking and phone validation — Datamagnet returns none of that
  • 80+ signal types that reach well past our six: funding, hiring, website visits, search intent, G2 reviews and Reddit mentions
  • A no-code canvas a RevOps operator can run end to end without an engineer, which Datamagnet has no equivalent of
  • Two-way Salesforce and HubSpot sync, plus Snowflake, Pipedrive, Close, Zoho and Airtable — no sync code to write
  • AI web research agents that answer arbitrary questions about an account from the open web, with source attribution
  • A free plan with 100 credits and unlimited seats; Datamagnet gives 10 free credits
  • A Chrome extension, which Datamagnet does not have at all
  • Enterprise controls Datamagnet does not advertise: SSO/SAML, RBAC, SOC 2 Type 2, SCIM provisioning, audit logs, data residency and VPC

Where Datamagnet wins

  • One request per lookup: POST a LinkedIn URL, get JSON back, with no workflow to construct first
  • Every profile fetched live at request time rather than re-checked on a schedule
  • Post content, commenters, reactors and reposters as first-class endpoints, not table columns
  • Sales Navigator search URLs answered by an API, plus a searchable database of previously enriched profiles
  • A fixed, published credit cost for every endpoint, visible before you sign up
  • Charged only on successful requests, so a lookup that returns nothing costs nothing
  • Starts at $39/mo, with 10 free credits and no card to check the response shape first
  • No canvas to learn and no rows to reconcile — the HTTP response is the deliverable

Datamagnet vs Floqer: FAQ

Yes. Floqer publishes a REST API with Bearer-token authentication, and unlike some GTM platforms it is included on the self-serve plan rather than reserved for Enterprise. What it manages, though, is the workspace: workflows, sheets, input columns, actions, rows and apps. Enriching one record means creating a workflow, adding an action, posting a row, triggering a run and polling for results, rather than making a single request that returns data.

Floqer's self-serve plans run from $49 a month for 2,000 credits up to $999 a month for 80,000 credits, with annual billing taking ten percent off. A free workspace includes 100 credits and core platform access with no card required. Enterprise is custom-priced on annual billing. Seats are unlimited on every plan, and credits roll over while the subscription is active and stay valid for twelve months after it ends.

Partly, because the two sit at different layers. Floqer is a GTM platform that orchestrates enrichment across more than 100 third-party sources and adds signals, CRM sync and AI research agents on top. Datamagnet is one of the underlying data layers: a REST API returning live person, company, post and search data as JSON. If you used Floqer mainly to pull public profiles from a script, Datamagnet replaces that. If you used the canvas, it does not.

No. Datamagnet does not return email addresses, does not verify deliverability, and does not return phone numbers. It returns person and company profiles, post and engagement data, search results and change signals, each fetched live at request time. Floqer's waterfall across 100-plus sources exists specifically for contact discovery and includes email bounce-checking and phone validation, so teams needing contact coverage typically run Floqer, or a dedicated contact provider, alongside Datamagnet.

Floqer is young but funded and operating. It was founded in October 2024 and announced a $2 million pre-seed round in July 2026 backed by Perplexity's F7 Fund, N49P and Tidal Venture Partners, saying it serves more than 1,000 companies, is cashflow positive, and is past seven figures in annual recurring revenue. That is still early stage, so weigh it as you would any two-year-old vendor holding your CRM data.

Floqer keeps records current by re-checking them on a schedule, so a field is as fresh as its last pass and self-healing catches job changes and dead emails between passes. Datamagnet has no stored record to refresh: every call fetches the live profile at that moment and returns it, so the answer is zero days old at delivery. Scheduled refresh suits a CRM of record; live fetch suits code that must be right on the call.
